Tamara Fisch has been a theater director for 15 years. Her first film, Resolutions, will premiere in March 2017 at the LA Indie Film Festival. She was the co-producer on a feature film, We’ve Forgotten More Than We Ever Knew, written and directed by Thomas Woodrow, in 2015. She has assisted a number of wonderful directors, notably Jack O’Brien at the New York Shakespeare Festival, Richard Nelson on all four of his Apple Family Plays at the Public Theater, Scott Ellis on the World Premiere of Theresa Rebeck’s The Understudy at Williamstown and Roundabout, Marion McClinton on the World Premiere of August Wilson’s Gem of the Ocean at The Goodman Theater and the Mark Taper Forum, and the Broadway revival of Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Tamara holds a BA from Yale University and an MFA from the University of Washington School of Drama. She is a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre, a member of Partial Comfort Productions, was director-in-residence at Ensemble Studio Theatre for the 2008-2009 season, was the 2009 Bill Foeller Directing Fellow at Williamstown Theatre Festival, is a Drama League Directing Fellow.
